DIY M42 Medium Format Photos

As promised i present you some photos taken with camera that i've built for my thesis project. Images are not modified in photoshop, vigniette is a natural effect formed by coupling M42 with medium format film. Faces are blurred by the special 2-second exposure. It is connected with the subject of the film.

Adding to a lens shutter mechanism resulted in prolonged exposure time of 5 degrees more than photometer pointed.
I used Takumar f1.4 lens with IBSOR D.R.P (1920-1930) shutter mechanism

Zgodnie z obietnicą publikuję zdjęcia wykonane wcześniej wspomnianym aparatem.
Zdjęcia nie są modyfikowane w żaden sposób w Photoshopie, winieta jest naturalnym efektem połączenia M42 z filmem średniego formatu. Twarze są specjalnie rozmazane poprzez ruch głowy podczas 2 sekundowego naświetlania. Ma to ścisły związek z tematyką filmu.

Wkręcenie mechanizmu migawki na przód obiektywu skutkuje wydłużeniem czasu naświetlania o ok 5 stopni więcej niż sugeruje światłomierz. Zdjęcia wykonane Takumarem f1.4 w połączeniu z migawką z obiektywu  IBSOR D.R.P (1920-1930)

DIY Medium Format M42

Let me introduce you to my camera. An important component of my thesis and film which i will publish on vimeo on 16 June. This is M42 mount system lens(Zenit etc.) with Medium Format casette and Voigtlander shutter. Before it was build i tried to find something about this controversial mix on internet, but i suppose no one desired to see this M42 extreme vignette but i like this kind of experiments so lets go.

Pora na premierę aparatu fotograficznego, który przygotowałem na potrzeby pracy dyplomowej. Jest on jednym z elementów filmu, który opublikuję 16 czerwca na Vimeo. Zastosowałem system obiektywów na gwint M42 (Zenit itp) w połączeniu z kasetką na film średnioformatowy oraz migawkę z Voigtlandera. 

Aparat działa, jutro opublikuję zdjęcia.
